aggravated battery : ウィキペディア英語版 | aggravated battery
In the criminal law of the United States, Aggravated battery in is a more serious form of battery. Aggravated battery requires serious injury, use of a deadly weapon, or the intent to kill or seriously harm. Unlike simple battery, it is a felony. An equivalent charge, under the Canadian ''Criminal Code'', is assault causing bodily harm, although unlike if the offence is prosecuted in a US jurisdiction, the offence is a hybrid one. Assault occasioning actual bodily harm is an equivalent offence under English law and in some Australian jurisdictions. ==References==
